Reasons to move to Kansas | Reason Two.
Need a few more reasons to move to Kansas? Today, I am providing you with reason two. The food. Actually, I don’t know if it’s the food, the people, or the atmosphere, but I love all the little diners you can find in just about every town you go to. The food is amazing comfort food! lol HA! Not really good for you when you’re trying to get your summer body ready, but you need a cheat meal every once in awhile. The atmosphere of these little places is unbeatable! It’s quite with a low murmur of people having actual conversations. No loud music, no everyone on their phones, actual conversations with laughter and the talk of small town politics and how the local high school teams did on Friday night and the weather. Oh the conversations you’ll hear about the weather lol. I love it! And the people. If you go there often, they will learn your name. It’s always nice to walk into a place when they say “Hey Kim! How’s it going today?” They act like they like their jobs and are happy to be there. They learn your order and what you like to drink. You totally become a regular after just a few times of going there. New to town? Oh, you’ll be noticed for sure! lol HA! People might stare a little and be curious about who “these new people are.” But like I mentioned before, you’ll become a familiar face in no time!
So, the next time you’re passing by or you move to a small Kansas town, stop in at the local diner for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. :)
