Controlled Burn

Last night I caught wind of a controlled burn on Facebook. In true small town, everyone needs to go see what is going on fashion, I decided to grab my camera and head over to where it was said to be to see if I could snag a few shots of it. They had a pretty good sized fire out there burning. You could see the glow from the northeast side of town. I think the most mesmerizing thing about the controlled burn last night, was the noise. Just a low, crackling murmur on a dirt road in the middle of no where with half the town who wanted to be noisy too lol HA!

It was pretty cool! Photographically speaking, I should have gone out around sunset so you could see the field that was being burned too, not just the fire. Still go some pretty cool images, though, even capturing it after sunset.
